The 6 person hot tub didn't hurt also. I think I spent more time doing that than anything else. The kids had a blast being so close to Sturbridge Village. (haven't been there since i was a kid. I forgot how much fun it was for the kid and I). The trip from my home was about 45 min which beat the 2-4 hour journey we usually make to Maine or N.H. and really worked for me considering gas prices today. I wish I had spent more time on the lake. My daughter had a blast fishing and the view from the deck was sweet. The house was awesome inside with plenty of room to relax and sleep for myself and my family. I can't recommend this place any higher to anyone who is interested. We've been to our fair share of lakehouses over the yrs & I can honestly say, yours ranks at the top of the list. From the wonderful complimentary pastries waiting upon our arrival, to the wifi & full cable tv options on the flat screen. Your available amenities are just awesome. The SleepNumber bed was great. The firewood was plentiful. There were 2 tanks of propane for the gas grill. And utensils & condiments were readily avail if need be. And how can I forget to mention the tastefully decorated interior looked even better than the pictures on the website. The view was beautiful. What a site to see the hills across the lake. I'm also an avid fisherman. And let me tell you, there are some big catfish in that lake. We caught lots of 2-3 lbers. But on one of those nights, I caught the biggest catfish in my life, right off that little dock to the left of the beach. When I say big, I mean 30lbs+. I would have never guessed there were catfish that big in there. Wow. I leave a little bit of history behind at your lakehouse and have an exciting story to tell. [W]e had a blast at your lakehouse.
